Common questions
Go to Settings → Connected Inbox and tap 'Disconnect'. Swerv will immediately stop scanning your inbox. Your existing saved items won't be deleted. Only the inbox connection is removed.
Tap any item and scroll to the SOURCE EMAIL section. You'll see the exact email Swerv used, including the sender, subject, received date, and the specific line of text that triggered detection. Use 'Copy Subject' to copy the subject line and search for the original email in Gmail quickly. There's also an 'Open Gmail' button that tries to take you straight there — though it may open a search rather than the exact message depending on your device.
Open the item and scroll to the bottom. Tap 'Remove from Swerv'. This permanently deletes the item. If the same email is scanned again in future, it won't be recreated — Swerv remembers deleted sources.
Swerv only surfaces emails that contain a clear personal obligation: a charge, deadline, booking, or return linked to you specifically. Marketing emails, comparison sites, and promotional content are filtered out. If you think something should have been detected, use the 'Report incorrect detection' button below.
No. Swerv is a read-only assistant. It never sends emails, cancels subscriptions, contacts retailers, or takes any action in your name. Everything in Swerv is for your awareness. You take the action.
No. Swerv reads email content on your device to classify emails. Only the minimum metadata (merchant name, detected category, amount, deadline, subject line) is saved to your Swerv account. Full email bodies are never stored.
Email support@meetswerv.com with the subject "Delete my account" and we'll remove all your data within 30 days.
