What Swerv is

Swerv is a personal life admin tool. It scans your Gmail inbox to surface things you might miss, like expiring returns, forgotten refunds, upcoming renewals, claim deadlines, and appointments that need action.

Swerv is an organisational assistant. It helps you remember. It does not act on your behalf. Swerv never cancels subscriptions, files claims, initiates returns, or communicates with retailers or service providers for you.

What Swerv does not guarantee

Swerv uses pattern recognition to detect items from your emails. While we work hard to keep it accurate, Swerv:

• Does not guarantee it will detect every relevant email.
• Does not guarantee that detected dates, amounts, or deadlines are exact. Always verify with the original retailer or service provider.
• Does not guarantee prevention of missed deadlines, payments, or financial loss.
• May generate estimated windows based on typical policies when exact dates are not available.

You remain solely responsible for your own subscriptions, financial obligations, returns, appointments, and claims.

Your responsibilities

• Review items Swerv creates, as some may need your correction.
• Verify deadlines and amounts with the original merchant or service provider before acting.
• Do not rely solely on Swerv to manage time-sensitive obligations.
• Keep your account credentials secure.
• Use Swerv only for lawful purposes.

Accuracy of detected items

Some items Swerv creates are marked as needing review. This means Swerv detected something relevant but isn't certain of the details. Always check these before taking action.

Retailer and merchant return, refund, and cancellation policies can change at any time. Swerv reflects information from your emails. It does not independently verify current merchant policies.

Your account

You must be 16 or older to use Swerv. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service, attempt to circumvent security measures, or use Swerv in ways that harm other users or third parties. If your account is terminated for abuse, you will not be entitled to a refund of any paid subscription.

The service may change

Swerv is actively developed. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time. We'll do our best to notify you of significant changes in the app.

We may also update these terms as the service evolves. If changes are material, we'll notify you in the app and update the date above.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Swerv is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any missed deadlines, financial losses, or damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
